This Privacy Policy explains what information Shape Maker (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the app at colorblocs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up with email, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google (we never receive your Google password).
Content you create. The structures, templates, and worlds you build and choose to save, along with their metadata (names, timestamps, and grading results).
Technical information. Basic information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address and device/browser type, used for security and to operate the service.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
To save, load, and sync the creations you choose to store.
To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the app.
To respond to your requests and support questions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How your information is stored and shared

We use trusted service providers to run Shape Maker. Your data is processed by:

Supabase — authentication, database, and storage of your account and saved creations.
Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”, to authenticate you.
Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery of the app.

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in (for example, your authentication session token). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention and your choices

We keep your account information and saved creations for as long as your account is active. You can request to access, correct, or permanently delete your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below. When you delete your account, your saved creations are removed from our active systems.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children’s privacy

Shape Maker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
